Ohio State Parks on the Air Contest
All bands, all modes

In our last outing, over half of the State Parks had operating stations and hundreds of Amateur Radio Operators from around the country participated in Ohio State Parks On the Air (OSPOTA).  With the success of OSPOTA last year, we hope to have hams at every park in this year. More details at the OSPOTA website.

For hams throughout the State of Ohio, this is your opportunity to visit and enjoy the amenities offered by the 75 beautiful State Parks here in Ohio. Don’t just make a day of it, spend the weekend at the park of your choice. No matter whether you are camping or staying at one of the outstanding lodges or resorts, you will find that the parks are one of Ohio’s greatest assets. Check us out at our local meeting and see how much fun we’re having in person! In addition to our monthly meeting, we try to have at least one activity each month—another good opportunity to check us out. If you think we look like we’re having FUN, then the next step is to join us.   We’ve got members as far away as California and we welcome all Hams as part of our group.

In addition to having fun, we have made friendships with other Amateur operators, and have spread the message about what Ham radio is all about to our communities.
