Ham radio volunteers needed

This year’s Mantua Potato Stomp nine mile race will be on Saturday, September 10th and our operation will run from 0730 till about 1100 hours.  This is a fun event to work and although it is the same day as OSPOTA there are some assignments that will wrap up early leaving you plenty of time to still get to your OSPOTA station.

We still need volunteers so it you would like to assist with this event, please send me a reply at aylwardjim@aol.com“>aylwardjim@aol.com .  Thanks!

Ohio BarQSO Party

PCARS Members:
Please keep in mind that this Saturday at the club site, we will be participating in the Ohio QSO Party.  The contest starts at Noon and goes til Midnight. We will begin to gather at 10:00AM.
We will also host our annual BBQ with burgers, brats and beverages.  If some of you can bring a dish to pass such as baked beans or coleslaw or potato salad, that would be great.
There will be ample opportunity to sit at one of the rigs and make some contacts to help K8BF post a good score.
So come on out and have some BIG FUN with the rest of the K8BF Crowd.
