Errors in my recent comments

On the net this past week, and, in the newsletter for November, I have misstated the date of the PCARS Club Meeting!  Both times I had mistakenly mentioned it as being on the 7th of November – the actual date is the 14th of November – the second Monday of the month, as usual.  My apologies for any confusion I may have caused.
Now that I am already talking to you about the November meeting, I would like to take the opportunity to personally invite you to attend!  This is traditionally one of our most important meetings of the year and I hope you'll be able to make it ( on November 14 – second Monday of the month).
First up is our election of officers for the upcoming year.  EVERYONE should be a part of making sure you have the leaders you want, and the only way to do that is to participate in the vote!
Next up is the fact that this is one of our best 50/50 drawings of the year!  You will want to buy lots and lots of tickets.  The important thing here is that the club's portion of the 50/50 is donated to the Center of Hope to help the families in our community who need it the most.  In addition to the tickets, we appreciate anyone and everyone who would like to donate directly to the Center of Hope, through PCARS, by bringing a check (payable to the Center of Hope) so that we can pool all of our donations.  Your donations are tax deductible.  Family & Community Services, that parent organization of the Center of Hope, has been a very gracious landlord to PCARS and this is one way that we can show them that we do appreciate it!
I hope to see you there – on November 14th!

Step Ladder

The ceiling florescant lights in Bay 3 at the club site are all out and the club’s 8 ft step ladder is too short to safely reach them for servicing. Does anyone have a taller step ladder we could use? Please let me know at k8cav@portcars.org. Thanks!
