Announcement from W8WTD ARRL Vice Director for Great Lakes Division

Greetings Great Lakes Division ARRL Members.
After much consideration, I have decided not to run for re-election as
Vice Director for the Great Lakes Division. It has been a privilege to
serve in this capacity. I remain committed to the ARRL and its goals
for amateur radio. Thanks to all who have shown me such support and
encouragement over these past six years.
Very 73,
Tom Delaney W8WTD

DX Contest SIG Tuesday July 28th at 7 PM at the Club Site

Attention PCARS DXers and Contesters:
July 28th is an important date. It is the day that we will have our first DX/Contest Special Interest Group meeting since the lockdown. It will be at the club site and will start at 7PM.
The important topic that we will discuss will be the Ohio QSO Party/BBQ and how we will conduct it. As far as the meeting goes, I would ask that everyone attending please wear a mask and we will practice social distancing. I want to make sure that everyone who wants to attend will feel safe in doing so. If we can meet outside, that might work out better.
Tom, WB8LCD, will be in attendance to let us in on what the board has been discussing in regards to this upcoming contest.
I hope to see many of you there.
