Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. eastern will be the May FlexNet. This month we will be meeting on 40 meters. 7.185 +/- 5kHz will be our net frequency. In the event that NCS (K8IV) has to find a clearer frequency, the alternate net control (WB8LCD) will be monitoring the 146.895 repeater to help people find our net.
Remember, when logging your QSOs, use UTC dates/times. Also, be ready to give an accurate RS(T) signal report. I would encourage you to read up on RST signal reports before the net. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R-S-T_system
After the net, please QSL every PCARS member you worked. To save on postage, you can leave and pick up QSL cards in the Squirrel Buro box at the club site during any event or at our club meeting at the monthly meeting.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
