Field Day – Final QST
Field Day is almost here and the Radio gods have smiled on us (So Far?!!!!).  The weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday has improved, it should be warm and dry both days, high temperatures Saturday in the mid 70’s and Sunday in the low 80’s. The lows overnight will be in the mid 50’s , so everyone staying overnight should be prepared.  Note that the grass will likely still be soggy and wet, so everyone who will be walking on the grass should have water proof of at least water resistant footwear (Very Important!!)  Also you should also have rain gear with you regardless of the good forecast.
Other Items:
Donations:  Snacks and Soda needed!  Bring some to share with everyone!  Cash donations……YES!!!!
Dinner will be served at about 6 pm Saturday. You must be on the reservation list to eat with us. Dinner will be served to ON- DUTY operators FIRST. We will need a few volunteers to take orders and deliver food to the stations. No one shuts down to eat.
Breakfast will be served about 8 am Sunday. Again you must be on the reservation list to eat. Same drill for serving station operators!
Volunteers for setup: We can always use a few more!! Be there not later than 10 am for the Safety meeting!!  AND, Everyone that can, should stay around after we shut down operations at 2 pm Sunday to tear down and pack up the stations. The Club will supply some lunch so everyone staying to teardown has something to eat.
Special Note:  The Club will supply cold bottled water through Field Day.  Everyone should drink plenty of water to avoid heat related problems.
Finally, Everyone please. just come out and have a great time at our biggest event of the year!!
