OK members and friends. One more reminder of our QRP event. As I have mentioned, and yet do so again, this Saturday, February 8, we will be holding our annual Freeze Your Acorns Off QRP Event for the 15th year. The festivities start at 9AM at Fred Fuller Park in Kent. We will gather, as we have had in the past, in the Roy Smith Shelter House.
Those that have planned, yes you too Nick, to set up a station should arrive no later than 9AM since the start of the event is at 10AM. You will operate until 3PM when at that time you need to shut down and bring you logs and other documentation to me to score.
Those of you who are participating in the FYAO Best Recipe Cook-Off contest can come at a reasonable hour but understand, if you are too late, your offering may not make the judging. You are encouraged to bring your best culinary effort, be it a hot or cold dish and three impartial judges will decide who wins the coveted title of FYAO Best Cook for this year.
As always, those who want to donate chips, pretzels, cookies or other snacks, are certainly encouraged to do so. Soda will also be welcomed.
Hope to see many PCARS and friends of PCARS this Saturday.
