The regular monthly meeting of the Antenna Special Interest Group will be held Tuesday, 4/18/2017, 7PM at the club site. All PCARS members and guests are welcome to attend and participate.
At this meeting of the Antenna SIG we will get our first look at the WSPR payload that will fly on our first Circumnavigator balloon. Weighing in at just a few grams it will include everything from transmitter to solar cells to charge its battery And a 30 meter dipole antenna.
We are still looking for another 5 or 6 volunteers to support the Field Day Antenna Team. This team will be responsible for quickly and efficiently erecting antenna systems for ALL the PCARS stations. It should be fun and educational for new hams who are less experienced actually building putting up several types of HF antennas. Let's help Chuck, W8PT, get this team together. Time is running out…… Please Volunteer!!
Come on out to this Antenna SIG and talk about those antenna projects you are wanting to build. See you all there!!
