Attention Contesters:
Well, here is one of the contests in which we normally do very well. The California QSOP will be taking place this weekend, Oct 3-4, at our World Famous Club site. Festivities get started at 1600 UTC (Noon Local time) on Saturday and ends on Sunday at 2200 UTC (6PM local).
We will have all the op positions available. However, in our discussions it was thought that 40, 20 & 15 meters would be the best bands. Ten meters seems to be mostly dead, but we will be checking that periodically as well as 80 meters.
For those of you who plan to operate, I suggest that you show up early so that we can review the rules and make sure that we are all on the same page when it comes to operations.
I look forward to seeing a lot of contesters showing up to make this event another success. We especially need CW ops, so those with a good ear and fist are most welcome. Come on out and help K8BF be first in the USA again.
