Here’s another reminder that we will be hosting our first, and hopefully annual, Roast Your Acorns Off QRP event on July 25th. The event is being held at Lake Milton State Park at the Harry Meshel Picnic area. We have reserved two pavilions.
The event starts at 10AM and concludes at 3PM. So if you are planning to operate, then you need to start setting up at 9AM.
The makeup of the event is almost identical to our annual Freeze Your Acons Off event, except of course, this one happens during the summer heat. We also include our Best Recipe Cook Off contest at the same time. Of course I don’t see many pots of hot chili being entered. But what do I know?
Also as I have done in the past, I will supply a packet of documents including the rules, log sheets, etc, when you sign in.
