This Saturday at Camp Manatoc we will be setting up to support Scouting’s Jamboree on the Air. We would like to have a couple of stations setup to help as many Scouts as possible experience Amateur Radio. Last year our club took part in the event and everyone had a great time.
Did you know Camp Manatoc is in the POTA Cuyahoga Valley National Park site?. Last year Mike KP4VZ used POTA CQ to provide some great contacts for the Scouts.
The event runs from about 9 AM until 4 PM. We also plan to demonstrate antenna construction and have some Fox Hunts.
