I heard this news Tuesday on the noon net – Dave W8HFY passed away January 25th, age 84 and a ham for over 70 years. I enjoyed seeing Dave and Mary at Thursday Ham Breakfast and other radio activities. Dave was very supportive of the 5th Tuesday SIG sessions for PCARS members interested in learning and improving their code and I’ll miss him!
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday Jan 30 2026 at the Newman Center on the Kent Statue University main campus, 1424 Horning Rd in Kent and interment in Kokomo IN.
