PCARS (K8BF)

For those members who cannot attend the November General Meeting, tickets for the 50/50 drawing will be available for purchase online. Deadline for purchase is Sunday , November 9th at midnight.

Physical tickets will be pulled for online purchasers, numbers on ticket assigned to individual purchasers, and then put into drawing along with all others (both online and at meeting purchases).

The PCARS treasurer will track 50/50 and prize winners for online ticket purchases and notify winner(s). They will have 30 days to contact the treasurer for pick up at the club site.

Remember, the club portion of the 50/50 goes to the Center of Hope!

This Thursday, October 30th, is NET NIGHT at the CLUBSITE. As previously noted, this will be our last Net NIght at the Clubsite for 2025 due to the Holiday net schedules in November and December.

Doors will open approximately 6:30 PM and we’ll have something to eat at 7:00. Please bring some snacks / sides to share with the group! We’ll close up probably around 9:30 – 10:00 (Hey! Some of us have to work in the morning!)

I invite EVERYONE to check into the PCARS net regardless of whether you are a PCARS member (or not) and you can check in from home on the K8IV repeater (146.895 – 118.8PL) or on the K8BF-L Echolink Node.

We’re closing in on the end of the “20 for 20” Net Check-in event so I’ll have some updates on how everyone is doing. Hope to see you there or hear you on the net!
