Hello PCARS DXers & Contesters:

Here’s a friendly reminder that our first meeting of 2025 will take place on Tuesday, January 28 at 7PM at our World Famous headquarters – the PCARS Clubsite. If we have bad WX, we can always meet on ZOOM.

Among our topics of discussion will be the Minnesota QSO Party that takes place Feb. 1. We will be going over the Rules and how we will be operating for this contest.

We will also be discussing our upcoming QRP event, Freeze Your Acorns Off which takes place this year on Feb. 15. Also, we want to see if there is any interest in having members work from their own QTHs during the South Carolina and North Carolina QSO Parties that take place at the end of February.

As always, the meeting will be available on ZOOM. So I hope to see a lot of members either in person or on ZOOM.

Due to the ongoing, unpredictable weather conditions, I am CANCELLING tonight evening’s Net Night at the Club Site!

That DOES NOT mean that there won’t be a PCARS net – THERE WILL! It’s a beautiful net and you should be there (on the air!). All the cool kids will be there, and the coolest kid of them all – KD8WCK – Rick – is on the agenda as our Net Control Operator. Rick really knows how to lay ’em down and call’ em out. You won’t participate in a net that is better – this is it!
