I will be looking for inputs for the Antenna SIG Presentation at the March 2024 PCARS Club Meeting. What do you think club members would like to hear to get more participants in our monthly meeting?
The Antenna SIG meetings are open to all PCARS members and guests. All ham radio operators or anyone interested in Amateur Radio are also welcome to attend. We will be discussing all aspects of antenna design, construction, test equipment, and experimentation. Everyone is welcome to join in the discussion, and talk about their antenna related projects with the group.

The next FLEX Net will be held on Wednesday February 14th at 8:00 PM.
This month’s net will take place on 80 meters LSB Phone. As most of you know there is a lot of activity on 80 meters in the evening, so after spending several evenings listening, my best guess for an open frequency will be 3.8975 MHz, +/- QRM. Please be prepared to change frequencies if necessary to avoid QRM or other nets/QSO’s. I hope to hear you then!

This month’s portable operations SIG is Tuesday, February 13th, at 7:00 PM.
We have a lot of stuff coming up this year; At least 3 more ParkPeditions, a recap of last month’s expedition to Wingfoot lake State Park, and who knows what else? Come on out to and join in the fun.
We’ll also be reviewing the results from last month’s Simplex contest. We’re planning to put in a more serious effort in 2025, to move K8BF up the page a bit.
