I want to thank Bernie McClenny, W3UR for the following in today’s Daily DX.

4X – Israel
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the state and the Israel Amateur
Radio Club (IARC) special prefixes 4X75 and 4Z75 will be active from
0000Z April 14 until 2359Z April 30. This will include the Holyland
Contest. The following are just some of the expected stations to be
active.

During the Holyland Contest QSOs with the special 4X75 and 4Z75 count
for three points instead of the normal 1 point. These calls will also
be valid for the CQ WPX Awards. All QSOs will be confirmed in LoTW and
eQSL.

We’re still collecting donations for the Dayton Hamvention Youth Forum!

PCARS is a sponsor of the Youth Forum, and our logo will appear on the podium sign. 100% of the money comes directly from club members; we just collect and pass on the donations. The minimum sponsorship amount has already been met by a few generous donors. Thank you to everyone who already donated!

Field Day Staff:

The March FD 2023 Staff Meeting will be held this Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 pm. at the PCARS Club Site. This meeting will be a hybrid, in-person/Zoom, meeting, so hopefully everyone can attend. If you can’t attend the meeting please let me know ahead of time.
