Here is the latest info on two DX events coming up.
1S – Spratly Islands
4F2KWT, Gil, has made final travel arrangements for his
DX0NE expedition to this rare one. He will be there April
30 to May 9, operating on 160-6M with 100 watts. He will
be on Kalayaan Island. On six meters, look for him on
50313 and 50102. DU1NA, Nic, will be his
pilot, dx0ne.pagasa@gmail.com who will keep him
apprised of any feedback. Gil says his internet
connection will be spotty but he will check messages
when he can. His antennas will be a 160/80M K5WZ
dual resonance “horse fence antenna,” and SVDAs for
10-10, and his radios, a pair of Yaesu 991As. Gil says
other ops are now unable to join due to schedule
conflicts. His goal is to make at least a thousand QSOs a
day, “or at least 500.” One of the two 991 radios will be

4K – Azerbaijan – 4J9M will be operating special event
stations 4J100TC and 4K100TC in celebration of the 100th
