Last night we held our Monthly DX/Contest Special Interest Group meeting. During the meeting we discussed the NEQSOP and the fact that it was coming up this weekend. I told the group that I was slammed this week and would not be able to make it. Ken informed us that he too, would not be able to make it. So it was decided to cancel our participation in this contest this year.
So: We are CANCELLING our participation in the NEQSOP which is taking place this coming weekend (May 2-3).
We did decide to participate in a new contest to take its place this year. This is a big one. We decided to participate in the CQ WW DX Contest, SSB portion that takes place Oct. 24-25. This will be our first effort in one of the big contests. More to come on this later. For now, have a great weekend and we will see you all in the next contest in June.
