If you’ve never contributed to The Radiogram or if it’s been a while, now is a great time to share something with the club.

And don’t forget, tonight is the monthly “Net Night at the Clubsite” – stop in at the PCARS World Headquarters (706 Oakwood St. Ravenna, OH 44266) for some Ham Radio fellowship, and possibly some beverages and snacks. Hello PCARS DXers & Contesters:

One more gentle reminder that the DX/Contesting Special Interest Group meeting will take place tomoorow evening, Tuesday, March 25th at 7PM at our World Famous headquarters.

Among our topics of discussion will be the Florida QSO Parties that take place April 26-27. We will be going over the Rules and how we will be operating for these contests and any other topic(s) that members bring up.

As always, the meeting will be available on ZOOM. So I hope to see a lot of members either in person or on ZOOM.

Hi POTA fans!

Our next PCARS POTA shindig will be at Cuyahoga Valley National Park on Saturday April 19, 2025 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This is our “World Amateur Radio Day + 1 Day” event AND the “Spring POTA Support Your Park” weekend. We will be at Shady Knoll Picnic Area, with spill over (if needed) at Boston Trailhead.

Both areas are just west of Rt 8 on 303.

I will be there early (8:00am?). We will have a tent (enclosed if needed), and a grill. Both areas have NO electricity, so get your battery, solar, hamster-driven generator, etc ready!

We will need some volunteers for food, drinks, paper towels, etc. Contact me or be at the next POTA SIG meeting (Tuesday 4/8/2025).
